Kayleigh Green
Our Musical Director is the gorgeous Kayleigh Green, who took on this role in May 2025, having previously being our Assistant Director.
Kayleigh has a strong musical background, having studied Theatre at Dartington College of Arts, teaching singing at a local Stagecoach performing arts school and then attending and joining us after Blackdown Acapella's first taster day in 2021.
From then her acapella journey has taken her from singing Tenor, to Tenor Section Leader, to competing Quartet member, to Assistant Director and now Director!
Kayleigh is talented, driven, committed and brings such warmth and fun to our chorus.
Here are a few of her words:
'I could not be more proud of the journey and achievements I have made over the last 3 and half years thanks to Blackdown Acapella and its founding members. I consider myself very lucky to have been given such fantastic opportunities and feel extremely privelidged to now be standing in front of such a strong and talented group of women each week. We have strong ambitions and values and I am so excited to be guiding our chorus along the next stage of our journey.'
